The EDAC 627/628 Series D-Sub connectors are vertical, metal body connectors designed for robust data communication applications. They feature a pin and socket contact mating design with P.C. tail termination, metal shell for EMI/RFI shielding, and grounding features including boardlock for exceptional retention. These connectors are designed based on the requirements of MIL-C-24038, EIA RS-232, and RS-449 standards, offering polarization through a D-shaped mating outline.
