The Kycon K99X Series IDC D-Subminiature Connector is designed for robust connectivity in demanding applications. Featuring metal construction with bright tin shells for exceptional conductivity, grounding, and EMI/RFI shielding, these connectors are ideal for computer peripherals, data processing, telecommunications, industrial controls, and local area networks. Indentations on the metal plug shells ensure superior grounding and mating retention. The IDC termination allows for automatic assembly machine compatibility, connecting flat cable to a single connector or in a daisy-chain configuration. This series meets the requirements of MIL-C-24308, EIA RS-232, and RS-449.
