The 3M CP2 Press-Fit Header, 2 mm Type A, is designed for high signal density applications with its 2 mm grid spacing. It features an "Eye of the Needle" compliant pin press-fit design for reduced manufacturing time and cost. The header offers three contact mating levels for Early Mate Late Break or "Hot Swap" functionality, and includes options for feed-through termination and additional grounding rows for improved ground bounce and EMI immunity. It is end-to-end stackable with compatible 3M headers and mates with 3M HSHM, UHM, and CP2 sockets.
