Product Overview
The 3M High-Speed Card-Edge Connector SPD08 is a high-density, 0.8mm pitch SMT BM socket designed for both Board-to-Board (B-T-B) and Wire-to-Board (W-T-B) applications. It offers high-speed signal transmission performance up to 15 Gbps for B-T-B and 20 Gbps for W-T-B configurations. The connector features flexible stack heights ranging from 16 mm to 40 mm and robust tolerance for misalignment, with 0.8 mm in the X and Y axes and 1.0 mm in the Z axis (at 30 mm stack height). It supports a current carrying capacity of up to 3.0A per pin, with a 0.5A rating when fully loaded. The high-temperature LCP resin housing withstands 260 C lead-free SMT processes. This connector is ideal for applications such as base stations, servers, hubs, switches, and routers, and can be used in conjunction with 3M Twin Axial Cable for internal protocols like PCI Express.
