Product Overview
The 3M CP2 Press-Fit Header, 2 mm, offers a high signal density solution with its 2 mm grid spacing, enabling cost-effective, high-performance interconnects. Featuring an "Eye of the Needle" compliant pin press-fit design, it streamlines manufacturing processes by reducing time and cost. The header supports three contact mating levels for Early Mate Late Break or "Hot Swap" applications, further enhancing manufacturing efficiency. Additional grounding rows are available for improved ground bounce and EMI immunity. This header is designed to mate with 5-row 3M HSHM, UHM, and CP2 Sockets and is end-to-end stackable with 5-row 3M HSHM, HM, and CP2 Headers. It is suitable for midplane applications with available feed-through termination.
