The 3M 891 Series IDC Ribbon Cable Socket is designed for reliable interconnectivity with .100" x .100" spacing for .050" pitch cable. This socket features a double-recessed cover for cable termination from either side, virtually eliminating the need for single-recessed cover connectors. It offers military polarization with or without a center bump, and an optional double-sided adhesive pull tab for easy unplugging. Suitable for applications requiring robust ribbon cable termination, it accommodates 26 and 28 AWG stranded wire.
