Product Overview
The 3M Boardmount Socket 929 Series offers a reliable interconnect solution with a .100" and .100" .100" pitch. Featuring a tuning fork contact design and solder standoffs for efficient wave soldering, these sockets are available in single or double row configurations with contact quantities ranging from 1 to 40 on a single row and 2 to 80 on two rows. An optional board retention feature is also available. These sockets are designed for mating with .100" [2.54mm] .100" [2.54mm] pin strip headers, including the 929 and 2300 series. The maximum recommended mating header pin length is .25" [6.4mm].
