The 3M Boardmount Socket 929 Series offers a reliable interconnect solution with a .100" and .100" x .100" pitch. Featuring a tuning fork contact design and solder standoffs for efficient wave soldering, these sockets are available in single-row configurations from 1 to 40 contacts and double-row configurations from 2 to 80 contacts. An optional board retention feature enhances assembly security. These sockets are designed for use with mating header pin lengths up to .25" [6.4] and are recommended to be mated with 3M 929 and 2300 series pin strip headers.
