The 3M Boardmount Socket 929 Series offers a reliable interconnect solution with a .100" and .100" x .100" pitch. Featuring a tuning fork contact design and solder standoffs for enhanced production wave soldering, these sockets are available in single and double row configurations from 1-40 and 2-80 contacts, respectively. An optional board retention feature is also available. These sockets are designed for applications requiring robust electrical performance and are rated for a current of 2 amps maximum and an insulation resistance of > 5 109 at 500 VDC. With a temperature rating of -40C to +105C and a process rating of 260C, they are suitable for demanding environments.
