The 3M Boardmount Socket 929 Series offers a .100" and .100" x .100" straight solder tail connection for single and double row configurations, accommodating 1-40 contacts on a single row and 2-80 contacts on two rows. Featuring a tuning fork contact design and solder standoffs for efficient wave soldering, this socket can optionally include a board retention feature. It is designed for use with mating header pin lengths up to .25" [6.4] and is recommended for mating with 929 and 2300 series pin strip headers.
