Featuring a tuning fork contact design and solder standoffs for efficient wave soldering, these sockets are available in single or double row configurations from 1 to 40 contacts (single row) and 2 to 80 contacts (double row). An optional board retention feature enhances assembly security. These sockets are designed for use with mating header pin lengths up to .25" [6.4] and are recommended to be mated with 3M's 929 and 2300 series pin strip headers.
