Terminal Construction Details:

• Vinyl Insulated: Brazed and Butted Seams. Flared, rigid molded polyvinyl chloride sleeve. Non-slip ridge for ease of positioning crimping tool. Industry standard color coding. Rated for -40F to 221F (-40C to 105C). UL Listed and CSA Certified for 600V building wire and 1000V signs and lighting fixtures.
• Nylon Insulated with Insulation Grip: Butted Seam barrels with a seamless brass sleeve. Flared, molded nylon sleeve. Funnel portion of brass sleeve for wire positioning. Crimp barrel and flared sleeve provide excellent electrical contact and mechanical stress relief. "Step" in nylon insulation for mistake-proof tool positioning. Industry standard color coding. Rated for -40F to 221F (-40C to 105C). UL Listed and CSA Certified for 600V building wire and 1000V signs and lighting fixtures.

Barrel Styles:

• Non-Insulated Butted Seam: Economical, used where special performance or installation characteristics are not needed. Beveled mouth facilitates wire insertion. Maximum temperature: 347F (175C).
• Non-Insulated Brazed Seam: Beveled mouth facilitates wire insertion. Can be crimped anywhere on barrel surface. Silver brazed seam will not open under crimping pressure. Stranded wire cannot escape barrel confines. Maximum temperature: 347F (175C).

Heat Shrink Terminals, Connectors, and Disconnects:

Offer superior moisture protection, corrosion resistance, improved mechanical performance, and durability. Adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing seals against contaminants, provides pullout strength and strain relief. Tubing resists abrasion, scoring, cut-through, and aging. Available in wire sizes 2210 AWG. Color-coded for wire range identification. Transparent tubing allows visual inspection.

High Temperature Terminals and Connectors:

Constructed of steel with nickel plating. Rated for continuous use at 900F (482C). Ideal for ovens, motors, light fixtures, and other high-temperature applications. No applicable UL or CSA standard for high-temperature steel parts.
