Product Overview
The Millipacs 2mm Hard Metric Series offers a high-current power interconnection solution designed as a modular, board-to-board system in a Hard Metric (HM) configuration. Conforming to IEC 917, IEC 61076-4-101, and Telcordia GR-1217-CORE standards, this popular backplane connector system provides cost-effectiveness, user flexibility, standardization, and broad availability. It is extensively utilized in chassis-based packaging across Communications, Data, Energy, Medical, and Industrial & Instrumentation segments. The series features right-angle receptacles available in standard signal modules of 5 and 8 rows, supporting up to 125 and 200 signal contacts per 50mm length, respectively. Hybrid modules with signal, power, and coaxial contacts are also available, enabling versatile circuit design with data rates up to 3Gb/s. These right-angle receptacles mate with vertical and right-angle headers.
