The Millipacs 2mm Hard Metric (HM) Series offers a modular, board-to-board interconnection system designed in accordance with IEC 917, IEC 61076-4-101, and Telcordia GR-1217-CORE standards. This popular backplane connector system is cost-effective, user-flexible, and standardized, making it suitable for chassis-based packaging in Communications, Data, Energy, Medical, and Industrial & Instrumentation segments. Available in standard signal modules of 5 and 8 rows, with options for hybrid modules including signal, power, and coaxial contacts, Millipacs connectors provide versatile circuit design capabilities up to 3Gb/s. They mate with vertical and right-angle headers, offering adequate spacing for PCB trace routing and optimized board layers.
