The Millipacs 2mm Hard Metric Series - Right Angle Receptacle Connectors offer a high-current power interconnection solution designed in accordance with IEC 917, IEC61076-4-101, and Telcordia GR-1217-CORE standards. This popular backplane connector system provides cost-effectiveness, user flexibility, standardization, and broad availability. It is extensively used in chassis-based packaging for Communications, Data, Energy, Medical, and Industrial & Instrumentation segments. The series features standard signal modules with 5 and 8 rows, supporting up to 125 and 200 signal contacts respectively per 50mm length. Hybrid modules are also available, incorporating signal pins, power, and coax contacts. These right-angle receptacles are designed to mate with vertical and right-angle headers, offering features like adequate spacing for PCB trace routing, modularity, a 2-beam tulip contact for reliability, easy guiding, and stamping for accurate true position and improved creepage distance. The connectors enable versatile circuit design with data rates up to 3Gb/s and offer optional shielding.
