The Millipacs 2mm Hard Metric Series Right Angle Receptacle Connectors are a highly popular backplane interconnection system designed in accordance with IEC 917, IEC 61076-4-101, and Telcordia GR-1217-CORE standards. This modular and scalable system offers cost-effectiveness, user flexibility, and broad availability, making it suitable for chassis-based packaging in Communications, Data, Energy, Medical, and Industrial & Instrumentation segments. Available in standard signal modules of 5 and 8 rows, with options for hybrid modules incorporating signal, power, and coaxial contacts, these connectors are designed for high current power interconnection and data rates up to 3Gb/s. They mate with vertical and right angle headers and provide adequate spacing for PCB trace routing, optimizing board layers and reducing real estate compared to 2.54mm pitch connectors.
