Product Overview
The MESR900 Series Copper Modbus Gateways are designed to bridge devices on Modbus serial networks (RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485) with Modbus TCP networks, enabling seamless integration. These gateways facilitate access to serial ports over a LAN or WAN via Direct IP Mode connections. Supporting up to 16 masters and 32 slaves, they offer auto-detecting 10/100 copper and fiber optic options, with serial data rates up to 230 kbps for enhanced network flexibility. Built for industrial environments, the MESR900 Series features a slim IP30 DIN rail mountable case, operates from a range of DC power supply voltages, and includes pluggable terminal block connectors. MESR90x models are equipped with one Ethernet port, while MESR92x models include an additional Ethernet port that functions as an Ethernet Switch for pass-through connectivity or daisy-chaining multiple gateways. Easy-to-use Vlinx Manager software is provided for configuration.
