Amphenol ICC's PCIe M.2 Gen 3 and Gen 4 Card Edge Connectors offer a high-density, high-performance solution for modern storage and server applications. These connectors feature 67 contacts on a 0.50mm pitch, occupying less board space and supporting higher data rates compared to PCIe Mini Card connectors. Designed for PCIe 3.0, USB 3.0, and SATA 3.0 applications, they are ideal for tablets, laptops, and low-profile storage and server solutions. The connectors support higher data rate transmission with both single and double-sided modules and are available in various connector height and keying options, accepting angled insertion of add-in module cards. Some part numbers also support both angled and straight insertion, providing flexibility for application design. Gen 5 M.2 designs are also being sketched to meet 32Gb/s rates.
