The Millipacs 2mm Hard Metric Series - Right Angle Receptacle Connectors offer a high-current power interconnection solution designed in accordance with IEC 917, IEC61076-4-101, and Telcordia GR-1217-CORE standards. As a popular backplane connector system, Millipacs provides cost-effectiveness, user flexibility, standardization, and broad availability. These connectors are extensively used in chassis-based packaging across Communications, Data, Energy, Medical, and Industrial & Instrumentation segments. The series features right angle receptacles available in standard signal modules of 5 and 8 rows, accommodating up to 125 and 200 signal contacts per 50mm length respectively. Hybrid modules are also available, incorporating signal pins, power, and coaxial contacts, enabling versatile circuit designs with data rates up to 3Gb/s. Key benefits include adequate spacing for PCB trace routing, modularity, and reliability through features like the 2-beam tulip contact and multipurpose center for guiding and coding. Optional shielding is also available.
