Amphenol ICC's 1.00mm pitch, vertical card edge connectors are specifically designed for low-profile systems, enabling PCI Express (PCIe) signaling from 2.5Gb/s (Gen 1) and 5Gb/s (Gen 2) up to 8Gb/s (Gen 3) per differential signal pair. These connectors feature a modular design with standard pin counts (36, 64, 98, 164, and 280) and are available in various configurations including through-hole, press-fit, and surface-mount terminations, as well as straddle-mount orientation. They support a wide range of bandwidth requirements, from x1 lanes for I/O cards in desktop PCs to x16 lanes and higher for graphics cards and server riser cards. ExpressModule versions offer an expanded lead-in window for blind mate server applications, and connectors with mounting ears ensure proper alignment to the host PCB. A rugged stand-alone retention mechanism is integrated to secure graphics cards during shipping and handling.
