This 2x2 AA Battery Holder with Premium Jumper Header Wires offers a compact, cubic design for convenient power solutions in various projects. The integrated premium jumper header wires allow for direct plug-in into breadboards, eliminating the need for stripped wires, while also supporting soldering to PCBs. Designed to hold four AA batteries in series, it provides a nominal output voltage of 6V DC for alkaline batteries (approximately 6.4V fresh, 4V dead) and 4.8V DC for rechargeables (approximately 5.2V fully charged, 4.4V discharged). For 5V projects, using rechargeable batteries is recommended. For alkaline batteries, a 1N4001 diode in series can be used to drop the voltage to approximately 5.3V.
