Product Overview
The 3M Wire Connector T/R+ (Tan/Red) is designed for electrically connecting two or more conductor ends in a pigtail application, providing insulation for the connection. It is suitable for copper conductors only, accommodating a range of AWG sizes from 22 through 8 solid and/or stranded, and metric sizes from 0.5 mm through 6.0 mm (ridged and flexible). This connector is constructed with a corrosion-resistant spring steel and a flame-retardant polypropylene and thermoplastic elastomer insulator. Tested to UL Standard 486C and CSA Standard C22.2 No. 188-M1983, it meets rigorous performance standards for static-heating, secureness, pullout, dielectric voltage withstand, insulation secureness, and flammability. It is also tested for UV exposure, salt spray, and fluid immersion resistance against various common chemicals.
