Product Overview

The Amphenol SurLok Plus Series offers a field-installable, highly reliable compression lug as an alternative to common compression lugs. Utilizing industry-standard crimp, screw, and busbar termination options, it eliminates the need for special torque tools. This environmentally sealed version of the original SurLok is available in smaller sizes and features a quick lock and press-to-release design. Incorporating RADSOK Technology, SurLok Plus is a compact, quick mating, and robust product line designed for high amperage applications. The RADSOK high amperage contact technology uses a stamped and formed, high conductivity alloy grid to achieve low insertion forces while maintaining a large conductive surface area. The R4 version of RADSOK is the result of extensive research and development in laser welding copper-based alloys. Key markets and applications include Energy Storage, EV/HEV, Process Control/Automation, and Heavy Equipment. The 1500V SurLok Plus option is specifically designed for EV/HEV applications.
