The Amphenol GT Series Reverse Bayonet Coupling Connectors are rugged, heavy-duty connectors designed for demanding environments. Originally developed for military use, they are now widely adopted in commercial, geophysical, aerospace, ground support, and shipboard applications, making them the preferred choice for mass transit. Key features include quick positive coupling with audible, tactile, and visual indication of full coupling, waterproof performance (IP67 rated), high shock and vibration capabilities, and no requirement for lockwiring. These connectors are intermateable with existing VG95234 connectors and offer a minimum of 2000 mating cycles. Special offerings include Amphe-Power Connectors with RADSOK technology for up to 50% more ampacity, GTC-M Series with metal clips, and GT-PC Series for high voltage power applications.
