The Amphenol HD38999 family of connectors offers significantly higher contact density, providing up to 30% more contacts than standard MIL-Spec 38999 connectors of equivalent size. Designed to utilize mil-specified 38999 components, including size 23 contacts and insert materials, these connectors offer a direct replacement for standard 38999 connectors. This design allows users to increase contact count without increasing connector size or to reduce system size by using smaller shell sizes while maintaining contact count. The HD38999 series is qualified to MIL-DTL-38999 requirements and is available in Filter, Hermetic, and customized versions.
