Product Overview

Amphenol 97 Series Connectors are UL and CSA recognized threaded standard cylindrical connectors designed for diverse industrial applications including mass transportation, automotive, heavy equipment, geophysical industries, and entertainment/lighting. These connectors feature rugged aluminum shells, durable and reliable construction, and environmentally acceptable shell plating options. They offer single key/keyway shell polarization, threaded coupling, various backshells, and resilient inserts that provide an outstanding moisture barrier, high dielectric strength, and resistance to vibration. Machined contacts ensure maximum corrosion resistance, current capacity, and low millivolt drop, available in solder or crimp types with silver or optional gold plating. The series operates within a temperature range of -55C to +125C and includes general duty and environmental versions. Amphe-Power connectors with RADSOK high amperage contacts are also available for demanding applications, supporting higher amperages for increased capability.
