Amphenol PT, SP, and MS/PT Series Miniature Cylindrical Connectors
Amphenol PT, SP, and MS/PT Series Miniature Cylindrical Connectors are designed for general duty and environmental applications in both industrial and military markets. These connectors offer a compact design, providing twice the number of contacts in half the size of standard connectors. They are known for their design flexibility, with various series offering different characteristics to meet cost and application requirements. Key features include environmental sealing achieved through grommet and clamp design, an operating temperature range of 55C to +125C, and operating voltages up to 1000 VAC (RMS) at sea level. Contacts are machined from a low-loss copper alloy and gold-plated for corrosion resistance and extended shelf life. All series feature resilient inserts for high dielectric strength and moisture barrier. Shell finishes include non-cadmium options, and a variety of back-end accessories are available.

These miniature cylindrical connectors are widely used in applications such as Instrumentation, Monitoring Equipment, Machine Tool, Factory Automation, Communications, Geophysical, Industrial Controls and Robotics, Oil and Petrochemical Industries, Rail/Mass Transit, and Military/Aerospace. They are available in bayonet coupling styles with either solder or crimp contact termination. The MS/PT and MS/PT-SE series are qualified to MIL-DTL-26482, Series 1. The SP and SP-SE series are modifications of the PT and PT-SE with a wider flange for back panel mounting. Options include hermetic seal receptacles, pressurized thru bulkhead receptacles, pre-installed coax solder contacts, and printed circuit board contacts.
