Product Overview

FCI's 1.0mm pitch vertical card edge connectors enable all generations of PCI Express signaling, supporting 2.5Gb/s (Gen1), 5.0Gb/s (Gen2), and 8.0Gb/s (Gen3) per differential signal pair. These connectors are designed for desktop PCs, workstations, and servers, offering various link widths (x1, x4, x8, x16) to meet different bandwidth requirements. The base x1 version is suitable for I/O cards, while x4 and x8 connectors provide higher contact counts for server I/O. High bandwidth versions are ideal for graphics cards and riser cards. Available termination options include through-hole solder, press-fit, surface-mount, and straddle-mount. ExpressModule versions offer an expanded lead-in window for blind-mate server applications. Rugged retention options are also available to secure graphics cards.
