Amphenol's Mini-SAS High Density (HD) connector system represents the next generation of SAS systems, engineered to deliver enhanced data rates and increased bandwidth. This system offers double the port density of current Mini-SAS connectors with available 1X1 (4x), 1X2 (8x), and 1X4 (16x) port configurations. The Mini-SAS HD connector system features a two-row, right-angle design, providing 12Gbps of data rate per channel. Each connector port is capable of handling 4 lanes of data, achieving a total bandwidth of up to 48Gbps. Key features include SFF-8643 compliance, SAS 3.0 (12Gbps) electrical performance, a 0.75mm pitch connector system for improved signal integrity and minimized cross-talk, elimination of the need for a mechanical key, and pinouts that map easily with existing Mini SAS products.
