Amphenol's Mini-SAS High Density (HD) connector system represents the next generation of SAS systems, engineered to deliver enhanced data rates and increased bandwidth. This system offers double the port density of current Mini-SAS connectors, with available 1X1 (4x), 1X2 (8x), and 1X4 (16x) port configurations. The Mini-SAS HD connector system features a two-row, right-angle connector capable of supporting 12Gbps per channel. Each connector port manages 4 lanes of data, providing up to 48Gbps of total bandwidth. Key advantages include SFF-8643 compliance, .FFUT SAS 3.0 (12Gbps) electrical performance, a 0.75mm pitch connector system for improved signal integrity and minimized cross-talk, elimination of the need for a mechanical key, and pinouts that easily map with existing Mini SAS products. The press-fit pin design ensures a one-step placement onto the PCB. Applications include Industrial, Server, Networking, Telecom, Storage, and Test environments.
