Product Overview
Amphenol 97 Series Connectors are UL and CSA recognized. The PT Series Miniature Cylindrical Connectors, also known as Proprietary/MIL-DTL-26482 Series 1 connectors, are designed for general duty and environmental applications in industrial and military markets. These connectors offer twice the number of contacts in half the size of standard connectors, providing design flexibility with various series, characteristics, and customer options. They are suitable for applications including instrumentation, monitoring equipment, machine tool, factory automation, communications, geophysical, industrial controls and robotics, oil and petrochemical industries, rail/mass transit, and military/aerospace. Common features include environmental sealing, an operating temperature range of 55C to +125C, and operating voltage up to 1000 VAC (RMS) at sea level. Contacts are machined from low loss copper alloy and gold plated for corrosion resistance and indefinite shelf life. Resilient inserts provide high dielectric strength and a moisture barrier. Various shell finishes and back-end accessories are available.
