Amphenol PT, SP, and MS/PT Series Miniature Cylindrical Connectors
Amphenol PT, SP, and MS/PT Series Miniature Cylindrical Connectors are designed for general duty and environmental applications in both industrial and military markets. These connectors offer a compact solution with twice the number of contacts in half the size of standard connectors. They are available in various series with differing design characteristics for maximum design flexibility and cost considerations. Two styles are MS approved and qualified to MIL-DTL-26482, Series 1, with several proprietary styles also available. Common features include environmental sealing via grommet and clamp design, an operating temperature range of 55C to +125C, and operating voltage up to 1000 VAC (RMS) at sea level. Contacts are machined from low loss copper alloy and gold plated for corrosion resistance and indefinite shelf life. Resilient inserts provide high dielectric strength and a moisture barrier. A variety of shell finishes and back-end accessories are offered. These connectors are intermateable with all miniature series connectors.
