Product Overview
The Amphenol GT Series Reverse Bayonet Coupling Connectors are rugged, high-performance connectors designed for demanding environments. Originally developed for military use, they have become widely adopted in commercial, geophysical, aerospace, ground support, and shipboard applications, particularly as the preferred connector for mass transit. Key features include quick positive coupling with audible, tactile, and visual indication of full coupling, waterproof sealing (IP67 rated), and high shock and vibration capabilities. These connectors eliminate the need for lockwiring and offer a minimum of 2000 mating cycles. They are intermateable with existing VG95234 connectors and are UL recognized. Amphenol also offers specialized versions, including those with RADSOK technology for increased ampacity, GTC-M Series with metal clips, and GT-PC Series for high voltage applications.
