The Amphenol MIL-DTL-5015, Matrix CRIMP REAR RELEASE Series offers an improved alternative to older MIL-C-5015 solder-type connectors, bridging the gap between established standards and the environmental and high-performance demands of current technologies. These medium to heavy-weight environmental cylindrical connectors are designed for reliability and ease of use, featuring captive coupling nut mechanisms, multiple interlock systems for permanent insert retention, and positive control of dielectric separation. They provide complete environmental sealing through individual contact seals, interfacial seals, peripheral gasket shell-to-shell seals, and redundant rear wire seals. The series is intermateable with existing MIL-DTL-5015 solder or crimp versions on existing equipment and accommodates a wide range of contact sizes and insert arrangements.
