The Amphenol Fiber Systems International LC Field Connector offers an easy system to upgrade standard LC connections to an environmentally sealed solution. It is sealed against fluids and dust (IP68), and is shock and vibration proof. The connector eliminates the need for field cabling operations and tools for installation (except for 1.6mm and 2mm zipcord cable). Utilizing the patented RJStop system, it allows a standard LC patchcord to be used within a metallic plug, providing protection from shocks, dust, and fluids without hazardous on-field cabling.
