The Amphenol High Speed Interconnects Mini-SAS HD is the next-generation SAS system, designed to meet SAS 2.1 and SAS-3 standards for enhanced data transmission and bandwidth. This low-profile system offers 4X and 8X cable-plug options, with external I/O connectors providing eight sideband signals per 4X port. Its 1x4 configuration supports up to 192 Gbps of total bandwidth. The Mini-SAS HD connector system features a 2-row, right-angle connector with data rates reaching 12 Gbps per channel, capable of up to 24 Gbps per channel and meeting SAS-4 and PCIe Gen4/5 requirements. Designed for increased density and reduced size compared to Mini-SAS 2.0, it offers space savings while maintaining standard compliance.
