Product Overview
The Amphenol ePower Connector Series is engineered for the demanding requirements of hybrid electric vehicles, utility truck electrical systems, and other harsh environment applications. These connectors operate at 800VDC to 1000VDC with continuous current ratings from 200A to 400A. They incorporate the patented RADSOK technology, offering higher amperage, lower T-rise, reduced resistance, and lower mating force compared to conventional connectors. The series provides a 40% smaller footprint than three EMI shielding cable glands and features easier termination with shielded cable. Available in 2 or 3 power contacts, a single ePower connector can replace multiple conventional connectors, saving space and cost. Applications span Military Aerospace and Industrial segments, including power converters, hybrid electric vehicles, heavy equipment electrification, two and three-phase motors, and starter generators.
