Product Overview
The Amphenol ePower Connector Series is engineered for the demanding requirements of hybrid electric vehicles, electric vehicles, and utility truck electrical systems. Operating at 800VDC to 1000VDC with a 200A to 400A continuous current rating, this series incorporates the patented RADSOK technology for higher amperage, lower T-rise, reduced resistance, and lower mating force. The ePower connectors offer a 40% smaller footprint compared to three EMI shielding cable glands and facilitate easier termination of shielded cable. Each connector series covers 2 or 3 power contacts, with one ePower 400A connector capable of replacing three conventional connectors, thus saving space and cost. Applications span Military Aerospace and Industrial segments, including power converters, hybrid electric vehicles, heavy equipment electrification, two and three-phase motors, and starter generators.
