Amphenol's SAS/PCIe 5.0 (U.2 or U.3) connectors are engineered for next-generation servers, delivering high-speed data transfer rates of 32GT/s for PCIe lanes and 24Gb/s for SAS lanes. These 68-position connectors, available as receptacles and headers, facilitate the implementation of high-speed Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) Hard Disk Drive (HDD) interfaces and Peripheral Component Express (PCIe)-based devices. Featuring molded guide posts for self-alignment during mating, a halogen-free high-temperature thermoplastic housing, and a durability of 500 mating cycles, these connectors are designed for robust performance in diverse environments. They are compatible with SFF8639 specifications and backward compatible with previous SAS generations, offering flexibility for both cost-effective HDDs and high-performance SSDs.
