Product Overview

The Amphenol RotaConnect is a unique rotatable Board-to-Board (BTB) SMT connector designed for versatile applications. Its hermaphroditic "mates to itself" design eliminates the need for separate header and receptacle components, allowing for mating at any angle between +90 and -60. This flexibility enables connectors to be placed anywhere on the PCB and supports perpendicular, coplanar, and angled connections. The connector features a self-guided contact system to prevent mis-mating and protect pins. Options for hold-down and locating pegs are available for enhanced PCB retention and simplified manual assembly. The RotaConnect is suitable for high-temperature environments and is compatible with tape and reel packaging for automated pick-and-place processes. Available in 2, 4, and 6 positions, it is ideal for control boards, sensors, actuators, LED strips, automotive lighting, and lighting luminaries.
