The Amphe-PV H4 Plus from Amphenol Industrial Sustainable Technologies (AIST) is a robust, dual-certified DC connector designed for photovoltaic (PV) modules and installations worldwide. Building on the legacy of the H4 connector, it offers enhanced durability, Amphenol-compatible mating, and Amphenols low resistance RADSOK contact technology. Key improvements include a ratcheting gland back nut to prevent backspin, an enhanced sealing grommet for superior wet leakage performance, and optimized contact design for long-term stability. This connector reduces part count and generates cost savings through integrated components like gland nuts, environmental gaskets, wire-retention collets, and contacts accepting multiple wire gauges. It is ideal for all PV applications, regardless of end-market.
