Product Overview
Amphenol ICC's SAS/PCIe 4.0 (U.2 & U.3) connectors are engineered for high-speed multi-protocol designs, supporting data transfer rates of 16GT/s for PCIe lanes and 24Gb/s for SAS lanes, essential for next-generation servers. These 68-position receptacles and headers facilitate the implementation of Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) hard disk drive (HDD) interfaces and Peripheral Component Express (PCIe)-based devices. Featuring molded guide posts for self-alignment during mating and constructed with halogen-free, high-temperature thermoplastic, these connectors offer durability of 500 mating cycles and are designed to withstand diverse environmental conditions. They are compatible with SFF-8639 specifications and offer backward compatibility with older SAS and SATA connectors, enabling flexible component selection for both cost-effective HDDs and high-performance SSDs in applications such as processor and storage blades, HDD carriers, external storage systems, interposer cards, and server storage.
