Product Overview
The Amphenol ePower Connector Series is engineered for the demanding electrical systems of hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as utility trucks. These connectors operate at high voltages (800VDC to 1000VDC) and continuous current ratings (200A to 400A). They feature the patented RADSOK technology, offering higher amperage, reduced T-rise, lower resistance, and improved mating force compared to conventional connectors. The series provides a 40% smaller footprint than three EMI shielding cable glands and simplifies termination with shielded cable. Available in 2 or 3 power contacts, a single ePower connector can replace multiple conventional connectors, optimizing space and cost. Applications span Military Aerospace and Industrial segments, including power converters, hybrid electric vehicles, heavy equipment electrification, two and three-phase motors, and starter generators.
