The Amphenol ePower Connector Series is engineered for the rigorous demands of hybrid and electric vehicle electrical systems, as well as utility trucks. Operating at 800VDC to 1000VDC with a continuous current rating of 200A to 400A, this series leverages the patented RADSOK technology. This innovation provides higher amperage, reduced T-rise, lower resistance, and mating force, offering superior performance compared to similar market products. The ePower connectors feature a 40% smaller footprint than three EMI shielding cable glands and simplify termination with shielded cable. Available in 2 or 3 power contact configurations, a single ePower 400A connector can replace up to three conventional connectors, optimizing space and cost. Key applications span Military Aerospace and Industrial segments, including power converters, hybrid electric vehicles, heavy equipment electrification, two and three-phase motors, and starter generators.
