Product Overview
The Amphenol ePower Connector Series is engineered for the demanding requirements of hybrid, electric vehicles, and utility truck electrical systems. Operating at 800VDC to 1000VDC with continuous current ratings from 200A to 400A, this series incorporates the patented RADSOK technology. This innovation provides higher amperage, lower T-rise, reduced resistance, and lower mating force. The ePower series offers a 40% smaller footprint compared to three EMI shielding cable glands and simplifies termination with shielded cable. Designed for harsh environment applications, it covers 2 or 3 power contacts, with one ePower 400A connector capable of replacing three conventional connectors, thereby saving space and cost. Applications span Military Aerospace and Industrial segments, including power converters, hybrid electric vehicles, heavy equipment electrification, two and three-phase motors, and starter generators.
