The Amphenol FCI Basics Quickie series offers a comprehensive solution for flat cable-to-board connections utilizing 2.54mm pitch IDC technology. These durable and cost-effective connectors are designed with specialized features for polarization, plating, and structure. The product line includes low-profile shrouded headers, available with or without eject latches, and receptacles with strain relief covers for precise alignment. The pre-loaded, adjustable bridge-type cover streamlines assembly, protects contacts, and ensures accurate cover-to-base alignment for reliable termination. Key benefits include prevention of connector mismating through dual polarization, cost efficiency and 100+ mating cycle performance with duplex plating, and robust pin protection and misalignment prevention offered by the four-walled shielded design of IDC headers.
