The Amphenol FCI Basics Quickie series offers a comprehensive solution for flat cable-to-board connections utilizing 2.54mm pitch IDC technology. These durable and cost-effective connectors feature specialized design elements for polarization, plating, and structure. The low-profile shrouded headers are available with or without eject latches. Receptacles are equipped with strain relief covers for precise alignment, and a pre-loaded adjustable bridge-type cover minimizes assembly time, protects contacts, and ensures reliable termination through precise cover-to-base alignment. Key benefits include prevention of connector mismating via dual polarization, cost savings and 100+ mating cycle performance with duplex plating, and enhanced pin protection and misalignment prevention due to the four-walled shielded design of IDC headers. Pin-in-paste versions and direct IDC-to-board one-piece solutions are also available.
