Amphenol's SFP connector and cage series offers a 20-position connector and cage combination designed for mounting to a host PCB. These compact solutions are a smaller alternative to GBIC interfaces, enabling significantly faster data transfer rates. Rated up to 10 Gbps, Amphenol's single port and stacked versions are available in RoHS compliant or non-RoHS compliant configurations. The one-piece construction cages feature enhanced transceiver mating tabs, with press-fit versions standard and solder or custom pin length options available. Applications include Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet, InfiniBand, servers, routers, storage devices, switches, optical devices, and networking devices.
