The Amphenol Socapex USB3CFTV is a ruggedized USB Type-C connection system designed for harsh environments. Built upon the MIL-DTL-38999 series III standard, it features a Tri-Start thread coupling mechanism for secure mating of plugs and receptacles. This system offers robust protection against fluids, dust, shocks, and vibration-induced disconnections. The assembly of standard USB Type-C cordsets into the ruggedized plugs requires no tools and can be performed in the field. It supports reversibility for both data and power transmission, enabling flexible data, power delivery, and video configurations. Ideal for demanding applications in ground vehicles, naval systems, and C5ISR environments.
