Product Overview

The Amphenol ePower Connector Series is engineered for the demanding electrical system requirements of hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as utility trucks. Operating at high voltages (800VDC to 1000VDC) and continuous current ratings (200A to 400A), these connectors leverage the patented RADSOK technology. This innovation provides higher amperage capacity, reduced T-rise, lower resistance, and lower mating force compared to conventional connectors. The ePower series offers a 40% smaller footprint than three EMI shielding cable glands and simplifies shielded cable termination. Available with 2 or 3 power contacts, a single ePower connector can replace multiple conventional connectors, leading to significant space and cost savings. Applications span both Military Aerospace and Industrial segments, including power converters, hybrid electric vehicles, heavy equipment electrification, two and three-phase motors, and starter generators.
